Commissary Receiving and Distribution Manager
Salary: $61,484.80 - full-time annual equivalent
Location: Grand Central Bakery Commissary Kitchen, 714 N. Fremont, Portland, OR 97227.
Schedule requirements: As a full-time, exempt employee, the Commissary Receiving and Distribution Manager typically works 5 days a week with flexibility to adjust schedule around special projects and may be required to work extra hours and/or days on an irregular basis due to unforeseen circumstances and emergencies. This may vary to meet deadlines but is generally more than a 40-hour work week.
Remote work: To best support the organization, this position works on-site and is not eligible for remote work.
Skills and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, and speak English required; English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
- Maintains a valid Food Handler's Card at all times and follows health department regulations at all times.
- Knowledge of all health department regulations concerning food production and handling required.
- Must be able to add, subtract and multiply with ease and accuracy.
- Intermediate computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, or comparable programs.
- 2 or more years’ experience in a people management or leadership role required.
- 2 or more years’ experience in wholesale warehouse or delivery environment required.
- HAACP, SQF, GMP or other food safety program experience preferred.
- Ability to be forklift certified within 30 days of hire.
